Lakeside Cabins
Dam Site Resort offers the only accommodations on Elephant Butte Lake. The historic "tourist cabins," part of Dam Site Resort, are located inside Elephant Butte Lake State Park overlooking the lake and are only a short distance from Truth or Consequences and Elephant Butte. Families and groups can enjoy beautiful views and have easy access to the lake.

History
The cabins at the Dam Site Resort were constructed in 1940 by members of the Civillian Conservation Corps (CCC) and still serve their original pupose of accomodating guests vacationing at Elephant Butte Lake.
Amenities
Amenities are basic due to the historic nature of the cabins. Linens and bath towels are furnished. Guests will need to bring their own cooking and eating utensils, etc. There are no phones or televisions at the cabins.
Cabins are available in many configurations to fit the size of your family or group. Many cabins include kitchenettes.
